Our Aim

The purpose of the association is to:

Promote science and research in the field of maritime tourism and cruise management

More specifically, CRS organises, endorses and sponsors:

  • Scientific events (i.e. conferences, symposia workshops, etc.)
  • Scientific publications
  • Research projects
  • Awarding of research projects
  • Development of education & training concepts and material
  • Active support of and commitment to the WTO’s Code of Ethics (abbr: World Tourism Organization – Global Code of Ethics)

CRS Fellows

The CRS network consists of:

  • High-profile Practitioners
  • Established academic Researchers
  • High-potential Students

all of which are actively and significantly contributing to cruise research at an international level.

CRS Fellowships are awarded upon referral or application. Applications are evaluated on the basis of academic merit and assessed in terms of the potential contribution and ability to benefit from inclusion in the society.
